Wow I didn't need to see my skin that close 🤣 I bought the 20x and you need to hold it close to your face to see as it's extremely magnifying. It's smaller than I thought so you can't see your whole face in it but it's great to pluck your eye brows with and put eye make up on and also comes with tweezers. The light turns to three shades, one very bright and you can turn it down to warmer shades. There is no stand but you could hang it on a wall. I have poor eyesight and I think I would have been better off with the 10x. Overall I'm still happy with the purchase for the price
