Once you remove the Queen sheet off to wash, it is hard to dig your hand between matress and box spring to find it, so I came up a solution: When you unclip the sheet, clip a wooden skewer or chopstick to each clip and it will hold the elastic until you replace the sheer.

Work great but took a while to connect all suspenders to the sheet. Had to slide the mattress off of the platform (box springs) to attach. Hopefully when I wash the sheets, next time I can just reach underneath and grab the suspenders & attach.
