I had a problem with this product because the QR code with the software would not activate. It turns out that QR Code identification was SWITCHED OFF on my Andoid phone - this is WELL HIDDEN in the settings. Once I had this working, I scanned the code on the Chinese manual it came with and it did not work. So I found an English manual on the product info and THAT did not work either. Finally I scanned the QR code on the side of the product and that worked and the camera takes nice pictures at least as a test.
They could have shipped the product with an English manual if the order was in English and updated the software to the correct version as on the side of the device. Support were very apologetic, but had no idea how to help, I worked it out using google of QR code problems with Android. However the product does seem to work OK. I may update later once I have used it for examining an engine, which is what I intend it for....
